Giveaway: Mini Aroma Owl

This sweet little owl will keep your drawer smelling heavenly.  It's made of wool-mix felt and filled with a little filler and lots of lavender (organically grown right here in Catalonia, Spain) and handmade with love.  No two owls are ever alike and the hand embroidery detail on them is always different. Just squeeze it every now and then to release the fragrance. The owl measures 12 X 9cm.  Please note this little owl is NOT suitable for small children due to small parts and buttons.

To celebrate my brand-new blog - I'm giving away one of these owls this month.   .

Colours available:
orange,
turquoise
red
purple,
green and
lilac.

Bits and pieces

I wanted to post a pic of the cushions I've made for the bed. I have one of those really long pillows, so I used up scraps of satin and alternated colours with the black satin. It came out really nicely and fits in with the Klimt print above the bed.

The other two were both quiilted, the one using cottons and the other satin and beads.

The little lilac 'bunny' was a bit of an experiment and is filled with lavender. Not quite bunny looking - but smells lovely hooked over the bedpost.

And... I just had to add a photo of Balu (posing during the cushion photoshoot on the bed). He's the most adorable cocker spaniel you could imagine - going on 10 years old -we adopted him from the animal shelter when he was about 2.

Eye pillows

These eye pillows have removable covers (made in pure silk). The inner is 100% cotton and filled with locally grown organic lavender and linseed.

Perfect for blocking out the light- the eye pillow has a little pressure on the eyes. I've found that if you pop it in the freezer for an hour or so (in a ziplock so it doesn't absorb any smells) and then use it, it does wonders for tension and sinus headaches. I use mine when I have migraines and it really does help a lot.

Aroma owls

I made these tiny owls from wool-mix felt and filled them with locally grown organic lavender and filler. They're really great to pop in drawers, keep in your handbag, car or just about anywhere. Each one is unique and handstitched from start to finish.

Watch this space for a tutorial on how to make them yourself.

Mini Aroma Owl giveaway. Ends 21st August.
